Parking

The best place to park is Ramp F given its proximity to the State Office Building (if there is space). Lot AA – a surface lot – is also a good option. Click here for a map of the Capitol complex for parking purposes. Street parking is also available around the Capitol complex (particularly outside of the MNDOT building along John Ireland Blvd) but some of the meters only take quarters. A quarter will buy you 12 minutes of parking time. You can also download the St. Paul parking app called “PassportParking” and use that instead to pay for parking.

12:00 PM – 12:30 PM:    Lunch & Legislative Briefing (State Office Building Room 500 South)

• Boxed lunches will be provided

12:45 PM – 03:00 PM:    Legislative Meetings (State Office Building & Minnesota Senate Building)

• Meetings with members of the Minnesota House of Representatives will be in the State Office Building (SOB).
• Meetings with members of the Minnesota Senate will be in the Minnesota Senate Building (MSB).
• State Office Building Room 500 South is reserved for MAO Day at the Capitol attendees throughout the day as a “home base” between meetings. This is the room where legislators may be stopping by to guest speak.
